Here’s a simple Italian Stuffed Shells with Meat recipe:
Ingredients

- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil leaves, chopped (optional)
Instructions

- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking into small pieces.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until onion is translucent.
- Stir in marinara sauce; bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low.
- In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and beaten egg. Mix well.
- Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
- In a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce.
- Arrange stuffed shells on top of the sauce.
- Pour remaining marinara sauce over the shells.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped fresh basil leaves, if desired.
